At Sulphur Grove we love children…they have a special place in the life of the church. Our goal is to provide a safe loving environment for all children during all activities.
Nursery Care-a nursery is available for babies and toddlers during both the 8:45 & 10:30 service at the Taylorsville campus and during both the 9:30 & 11:00 service at the YMCA campus. Parents are given a pager to keep in case the nursery staff needs to contact you during worship.
Children’s Worship-during the 10:30 service at Taylorsville and both services at the YMCA children are invited to attend children’s worship. During this time the children hear a Bible story, do crafts, play games, have a snack, and participate in other fun age-appropriate activities.
Praise Kids-the children’s choir meets during the school year and sings once a month at either the Taylorsville campus or the YMCA campus.
Faithweavers-meets on the 1st & 3rd Sunday evenings from September-May. Faithweavers offers Bible study and activities for all ages.
Special Activities-throughout the year children are invited to participate in special activities such as the Fall Harvest Party, Family Christmas Party, and the Easter Egg-stravaganza .
Route 456 Miniyouth Group
Route 456 is a faith-forming experience for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to help them in their spiritual growth and development. Students meet as part of the larger Faithweavers program at Sulphur Grove. Students are involved in Bible study, community service, crafts, and recreation. In addition the students and their families are invited to participate in occasional family activities. New students are always welcome!
