Worship at Brandt UMC
With open arms we welcome you to Brandt UMC, a people who make disciples by showing love for God and neighbor. We invite you to join us as we worship God, serve the community and show the love of Christ to our neighbors.
Worship at Brandt UMC is casual. Everyone says “Come as you are”; at Brandt UMC we really mean it. We wear everything from jeans to shorts to suits. The music is led by a guitar and keyboard with some of the best vocalists we know. It can range from the old hymns to gospel to some of the newer worship songs. We are a praying church that believes in the power of prayer. If you are hurting or sick, we will lay hands on you and pray for God’s healing in your life.
At Brandt UMC we minister to people in a number of ways. We take music, cookies and punch to area nursing homes. We feed the football and basketball teams, the cheerleaders and the band from the local high school. We house and participate in Bethel Hope, a local food pantry that also helps people financially. Every Christmas we offer the local children the opportunity to have breakfast with Santa. We embrace the idea of the universal church and work with other local churches to offer a community Vacation Bible School. The ladies support a child through World Vision, make up towel kits for the local women’s shelter and participate in the Christmas Shoebox program among a number of smaller ministries in the church. On Sunday mornings during the school year, we have breakfast at 9 o’clock. If you’re hungry, come on out and join us and stay for worship.
