We can help! Our pantry provides emergency food assistance to residents in need. Here’s what we offer:

Please note:
– ID/Proof of Address is required when you sign in
– We are open Wednesdays promptly from 5:30-7:30 PM
– To be a recipient you must be a regular participant of Sulphur Grove or a Resident of Huber Heights
– Each family can receive food assistance twice a month
– Each family can receive toiletries once a month
People seeking to donate:
There are certain items (as suggested by the Food Bank) that we try to give out with every request for food; therefore, these items are always in demand. Some suggestions for charitable giving include:
Canned meats – beef stew, tuna, chicken, ham, etc. These are particularly in demand
Canned vegetables – green beans, peas, corn, mixed vegetables, etc
Canned fruit – applesauce, peaches, pears, etc
Cereal – any common boxed breakfast cereal
Spaghetti sauce
Spaghetti noodles and other pasta shapes
Boxed potatoes (mashed flakes, Au Gratin, etc)
Rice
Peanut butter
Canned ravioli, beefaroni, spaghetti-o’s
Macaroni and cheese
Hamburger Helper
Desserts
Crackers
Soap and toilet paper
We also accept personal care and household items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, feminine products, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. To schedule a drop off for your donations please contact Candy at candyb@sulphurgrove.org or call the office at 937-236-5970.

Volunteers Needed:
In addition to food and/or money donations, there are other ways to help with the Huber Heights Food Pantry. We gladly welcome people interested in volunteering their time and efforts with organizing the pantry, welcoming guests, packaging donations, and more.
