FREE COMMUNITY MEAL TAYLORSVILLE ACTIVITY CENTER TUES. APRIL 28, 5-6:30 PM
The menu includes chicken vegetable casserole, French bread and butter, choice of fruit, hot coffee and tea, refreshing lemonade and iced tea, freshly baked desserts.
Anyone interested in sharing a meal with us in a friendly and caring environment is welcome. The prayer room will be available also.
Questions or to volunteer contact Carol Tatone or sign up in the Taylorsville pew pads. Volunteers and bakers are always needed.
Book of the Month Club
The next Book of the Month Discussion will be May 17, 2015 at 6:00 PM in Room 101 of the Taylorsville campus. It will feature Brian D. McLaren’s book “Why Did Jesus, Moses, the Buddha and Mohammed Cross the Road? – Christian Identity in a Multifaith World.” Presiding Bishop Katherine Schori of the Episcopal Church writes of it, “A renewed and renewing vision of Christianity that will challenge every reader to go deeper into its core Truth and find radical urgency to befriend all God’s children.” See the display at both campuses. The book may be purchased from the Taylorsville office for $13.00.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2015 JUNE 8-12 9:00-11:30am
Join us for a week of fun as we explore EVEREST: CONQUERING CHALLENGES WITH GOD’S MIGHTY POWER. Kids will learn about God’s incredible power and love for His children!! Each morning will include music, a Bible adventure story, crafts, games, snack-time, and visit to KidVid Cinema…where we will meet real kids who are relying on God’s power as they face life’s challenges.
VBS is offered at no cost to children 4 years old-5th grade. (children must be potty trained, please). Online registration will begin May 1st. Please contact Beth if you have questions or need additional information.
